Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan is the Executive Chairman of Low Fatt Wood Industries Sdn. Bhd. and its group of companies, which specializes in manufacturing high-value furniture, doors, and wood mouldings for export to 30 countries. With over 36 years of experience in the integrated wood processing industry, Low has established himself as a prominent figure.

His involvement with Chambers of Commerce includes over 30 years of active engagement with the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM). During this time, he has held key positions such as President, Executive Adviser, and Secretary-General. Datuk Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan is currently the Deputy Secretary General (Technology Development) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. His previous positions were in the areas of higher education, power sector and technological development including industrial related technologies, such as renewable energy, advanced materials and manufacturing, biotechnology (including vaccine development strategy) and nanotechnology. Datuk Dr. Azman holds a doctoral degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA in the field of renewable energy technology and is trained in conducting Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). He is also a registered Professional Technologist (Green Technology) with the Malaysian Board of Technologist.

Mr KJ Balan is the Head of SME Banking, Group Commercial Banking, CIMB Bank Bhd, Malaysia.

He carries with him over 30 years’ experience in banking with extensive experience in the transformation of business and sales of SMEs?[to elaborate further, if any]. Prior to CIMB, Mr Balan was with one of the leading domestic banks where he was Head of Business Development [insert any other designations].

I started my career as an IT System Analyst in TNB in 2000 and eventually branch into SAP as an area of specialization. During that period, I worked closely with SAP in deploying a TNB wide ERP system. By 2010, I was appointed as an SAP functional specialist for TNB and worked in that role for 5 years. In 2015, I took a leap of faith into the world of innovation from being a SAP functional specialist.

Since then, I have lead an awesome team of passionate explorers to path find new business models.  We have successfully catalyze the inception of the renewable energy certificate exchange, digital marketplace, electro mobility and energy efficiency services as new revenues beyond the kilowatt hours’ sales.

My present role as Head of Digital gives me the opportunity to reimagine digital in the age of energy transition.  I am in the quest to unlock business value via data and insights, incubate new digital domains, cultivate new ways of working and build the teams that shape the digital future of TNB. Under this role, I have been tasked to ensure the provisioning of emerging technology services for TNB, primarily Data & Analytics, Process Automation as well as Application Programming Interface (API). Development of Digital Culture for TNB is also a part of my responsibility which have seen us launching a TNB wide program on Digital Democratization for TNB employees as well as establishment of Digital Community of Practices that encourages peer-2-peer knowledge sharing and transfer.

Recognized as the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) National Productivity Champion (Leader) and Digital Transformation Specialist, he provides strategic consultation and advanced technical guidance to drive digital transformation in various industries. Prof. Tan’s involvement extends to the Malaysia Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) as a Council Member and as a reviewer for the mechanical engineering program in the Malaysia Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). Currently, Prof Tan is the Chairman of the ASEAN Engineering Inspectorate of Manufacturing Steering Committee.

Prof. Tan’s contributions have reached an international scale through his participation in the UNESCO-ISTIC-FEIAP project, where he conducted assessments, updated accreditation systems, and delivered training to assessors, professors, and teachers in Pakistan and Nigeria.

Since 2019, he has served as a Technical Expert for the ISO/IEC Smart Manufacturing Standards Map Task Force (ISO/IEC SM2TF). Leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise, Prof. Tan has been invited as a Keynote Speaker to significant international engineering events, including the Annual Meeting of China Association of Science & Technology (CAST), FEIAP General Assembly, World Intelligent Manufacturing Summit (WIMS), and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Future Engineers Conference.

Additionally, Prof. Tan contributes as a UNESCO Specialist, conducting assessments and studies on engineering education in African and APEC economies. Christina is the General Manager and co-founder of ULearning Singapore, the international subsidiary company of Beijing Wenhua Online EduTech.

She has been in the online education industry since 2006 and has contributed to various roles in this field, including teacher training for smart education, in charge of strategic partnership with global top publishers and technology providers, led team to design and create the first AI textbook on ULearning’s proprietary SaaS publishing platform.

She is currently handling various national smart education projects of Asian and African countries.

Christina Ng has been a regularly invited speaker for Huawei education conferences and events.

She holds a Master of Management (E-Commerce) from Macquarie Business School, Australia.
